After the editor of All Out Cricket magazine chanced across my piece 'What can The Big Lebowski teach us about cricket?', he asked whether I could provide a series on that theme – essentially, delving into well known movies and finding tenuous cricket connections. Of course, being poor and faintly desperate, I answered in the affirmative. Cue not a very cost-effective trawl through several cult movies listening out for mentions of "backward point" or "leg glance" or somesuch. Anyway, I managed to shoehorn The Matrix into this preposterous schema and have since submitted (a better) one on This Is England.

Very funny, I have loved both films. Lebovsky is my favorite movie, I think because I would like to be like him. I don't know. Well, I have seen a viber review and they say they will use some characters of Matrix to promote the app. So it could be some sort of revival.
